| Abstract: | The Federal Account is created by S.162 of the Constitution as an account for warehousing revenue receipts for the Federation and the accruals therein are shared monthly to the Federal, States and Local Governments in line with approved sharing formula. It is a mechanism to ensure that revenue that belong to the federation units are kept in a single file for the purpose of transparency, accountability and trust among stakeholders. |
