dc.description.abstractBorno, Enugu, Imo, Kebbi, Kogi, Ondo, Sokoto states (7 states) submitted their Executive Budget Proposals in December, 2022; 24 states (Abia, Adamawa, Akwa Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Ebonyi, Edo, Ekiti, Gombe, Jigawa, Kano, Katsina, Kwara, Nasarawa, Niger, Ogun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Taraba, Yobe, Zamfara states) submitted the Executive Budget Proposals to the States’ House of Assembly (SHoA) in November, 2022; while Cross River, Delta, Kaduna, Lagos (4 states) submitted in October, 2022; and Osun submitted in September, 2022. On EBP approval, 3 (Abia, Bayelsa, Kwara) States’ House of Assembly approved the EBP in January, 2023; 31 other states approved the EBP in December, 2022 except Osun state that approved in November, 2022. Borno state alone is yet to approve as at February 14, 2023.en_US
