JIGAWA STATE NUTRITION STRATEGIC PLAN OF ACTION

Abstract

This Costed Strategic Plan of Action takes a comprehensive approach to addressing the issues related to Nutrition in the state and it is a Multi-sectoral plan that requires joint implementation by the various related Ministries and parastatals in the state including Agriculture, Health, Women Affairs, Education, Information, Local Governments and Finance. The goal of this plan is to improve the nutritional status throughout the lifecycle of the people of Jigawa state with a focus on vulnerable groups especially women of reproductive age and children under-five years of age.
