| Abstract: | This Plan builds on some recent development plans such as the Vision 2020, Economic Recovery and Growth Plan (ERGP) and Economic Sustainability Plan (ESP) as reviewed below. The Plan took cognisance of the lessons learnt from these previous plans. Also reviewed in this Chapter are some relevant and important global and regional megatrends such as Fourth Industrial Revolution, Regional Trade, Green Economy, Knowledge Economy and Demographic shifts. Developments relating to these issues have effects on economic and social developments in Nigeria. |
