Abstract: | The local production of vaccine is made up of many complex processes, and capital-intensive with several stages; each step requiring specific equipment, facility and skills relevant to each candidate vaccine. Given the Covid-19 pandemic, institutions, commercial developers, regulatory agencies, and researchers were working at an unprecedented speed to accelerate the development, review and recommendation of Covid-19 candidate vaccines within 10-12 months. |
